Orders¶
Each Shopify order becomes one Odoo sales order, never two. It is created as a quotation, then follows the workflow you choose for it: confirmed, invoiced, paid. Later changes on Shopify (payments, shipments, refunds, returns, edits, cancellations) are applied to the same order.

Before the first import¶
- Order settings: switch on Import Orders, choose from when and with which statuses, the order number, currency and taxes.
- Store values to map: map the shipping methods, payment gateways and taxes read from your recent orders, and choose the workflow of each kind of order.
- Import orders: by hand, by scheduler or in real time with webhooks.
Then:
- After the sale: payments, cancellations, edits, refunds, returns and gift cards.
- Needs Attention: the orders Odoo could not finish by itself, and how to solve them.
Every order is checked
Odoo compares the order total with the Shopify total, part by part (items, shipping, taxes). An order that does not match stays a quotation instead of being invoiced with a wrong amount.
