Getting started

Four steps take a Shopify store from nothing to synchronizing with Odoo. Follow them in order: each page ends with what to do next.

1. Install the modules: add Shopify Connector to Odoo and give your team access.
2. Create the Shopify app: the app gives Odoo its API key, secret key and permissions on your store.
3. Connect your store: enter the keys in Odoo and approve the app on Shopify.
4. Complete the setup: the setup checklist shows every setting still missing.

Try it on a copy first

Connect a development store, or a copy of your Odoo database, before your live store. Check the first imported products and orders, then repeat the steps on the live database.

One database per store

Connect a live Shopify store to one Odoo database only. A copy of production that is connected too would also receive the store's events and send changes to Shopify.
